1.what‘s your favourite candle scent.
Vanilla. …always vanilla. It reminds me of the many hours of baking in a hot kitchen with my grandmother.
2.What female celebrity do you wish was your sister?
Omw! Madonna …could you imagine the amount of fun you’d get up to. (Lol I think I just gave away my age there 😋)
3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother?
Brad Pitt. … between his 6 kids and my 7 , Christmas would be an amazingly busy time.
4.How old do you think you‘ll be when you get married?
I married at 23 for the first time after being together since I was 15. And I’m marrying now in November for the second time to papa bear . So I guess 43👰
5.Do you know a hoarder?
Do I count ? But I only hoard good stuff like craft supplies, Pintrest ideas I’ll never use, educational toys and books. Oh and cookie cutters …yip! I’m weird like that !
6.Can you do the splits?
Not intentionally …no !
7.How old were you when you first learnt to ride a bike?
My grandad taught me to ride when I was about 6 or 7. I’m not really sure but I remember the silver bell was my most exciting feature on the little pink bike.
8. How many oceans have you swum in.
Two …Indian Ocean (I grew up in Natal) and Atlantic Ocean (I live in the Cape)
9.How many countries have you been to?
Only the Seychelles when I was much younger. Beautiful experience. ..who doesn’t love an island ?
10.Is anyone in your family in the army
11.What would you name your daughter if you had one ?
I’m blessed with two gorgeous daughters Tammi (25) and Kerri (13)
12. What would you name your son if you had one?
I have 5 amazing sons Dylan (22) , Shaun (21) , Byron (19) , Ronan (16) and my little bear Hamish (9months)
13.What‘s the worst grade you got on a test?
I once failed a whole term of art because I refused to stick to the teachers specs on my final exam … I still maintain art is not a dictated study but an expression of ourselves .
14. What was your favourite TV show as a kid?
I remember so many which is odd as I don’t watch TV at all now. I think the one that stands out most for me was Pumpkin Patch. I loved to sing along with Woofles and his friends.
15. What did you dress up as for Halloween when you were 8?
Halloween? I’d only heard about that in TV shows. It was only when I moved to Cape Town in 2000 that I saw South Africans taking part and celebrating Halloween.
16. Have you read any of the Harry Potter, Twighlight or Hunger Games series?
I’ve read and watched every Harry Potter book and movie. I’m a huge fan.
Twighlight is utter rubbish and I just can’t bring myself to try the books or even get beyond the first 15 minutes of the movie.
I loved the Hunger games movies …on my list to read the books.
17. Would you rather have an American or British accent?
Neither thanks, I’m quite proud of my South African accent.

My grandparents have all passed on.
20. Have you ever taken karate lessons?
No . My mother told Mr karate was for boys.
21.Do you know who Kermits the frog is ?
Um …yes !
22. What was the first amusement park you went to?
We took the kids to Ratanga Junction in 2000 when visiting the Cape for the first time.
23.What language beside your native language would you like to be fluent in ?
I speak English and Afrikaans fluently and understand a basic in Dutch and German , so I guess I’d like to be more fluent on both of those.
24.Do you spell the colour grey or gray?
25.Is your father bald?
I’m not sure. I last saw my father 16 tears ago.

Notebook …swoon 😍😍😍
28.Have you ever had Indian food?
Yes, growing up in Natal I’ve been lucky to sample some wonderful Indian meals. An Indian friend took some time a few years ago to teach me to make a decent curry, briani and roti. ..yummolicious
29.What‘s the name of your favourite restaurant?
The Orca. It’s a small sea food restaurant in Melkbos, Cape Town. Their service is amazing . Their food never dissapoints and as for their Orca speciality pudding ..let’s just say I could go there just for desert.
30.Have you ever been to Nandos?
Yes, but I prefer their adverts to their food 😋
31.Do you belong to any warehouse stores?
Does a Makro card count ?
32.What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender?
33.If you have a nick name what is it?
Those close to me call me Judes but my children call me mom , mommy , mother, mama
34.Whose your favourite person in the world ?
Aside from papa and my kiddies , I’d say my grandmother.
35.Would you rather live in the countryside or the city?
Always the country…preferably with a beach.

I have a lamp next to the bed but don’t sleep with it on.
38.Do you eat breakfast every morning?
No, I usually grab coffee first and maybe something to eat by round 10ish.
39.Do you take pills or medication daily ?
No, but if you ask some of my kids they may say I need anti crazy pills

8. Once with each of the kids, and last October to have the pins and plates inserted into my broken leg and ankle.
42.Have you seen the film finding Nemo?
Yes. The first time I watched it I had to put it off as my 4 year old Monkey burst into tears because Nemo didn’t have a mommy.
43.Where do you buy your jeans?
I own 1 pair of jeans and you hardly see me in them. I don’t even remember where I bought them.
44.What‘s the last compliment you got?
A friend read an interview I did for the power woman project and called me to say I inspired her 💞
45.Do you usually remember your dreams in the morning?
Sometimes. The last one I remember had a white unicorn .
46.What flavour tea do you enjoy?
I’m a coffee addict. Self confessed. Don’t drink tea.
47.How many pairs of shoes do you currently own?
Boots, talkies, slippers, Sandles and 2 pumps. Just the basics.
48.What religion will you raise your children to practice?
I’m Christian and so that’s the religion I’d raise them in.
49.How old were you when you found out Santa wasn‘t real ?
5. I saw my uncle dress up in the santa suit.
50.Why do you blog?
Mostly because I love to write. Secondly I want to share my parenting journeys so moms know they no alone. Fun mamma is to educate, encourage and inspire parents to be the best they can be, even on the hard days 😘
