From hand to mouth

From about 6 months anything your baby can find will go into their mouth.

This is a vital part of his learning and development.  By placing objects in his mouth he develops his sensory nerves and learns about shape, size, texture and weight.

Baby will also learn how his body works , develop his hand eye co-ordination and discover the world around him through placing items in his mouth.

At this phase it’s best to allow the exploration , just ensure the objects are not harmful to baby.
