Edu tip …. teaching colours

Three fun ways to get your pre schooler excited about learning colours.

Ice tray colour/shape match

On small card circles draw or paste stickers of various shapes or colours. Inside the ice tray draw/paste the same. Allow your child to paste the correct shape /colour into its corresponding hole.

Cd peg colous

Paste colour strips around an old Cd.  Paste the same strips onto the end of pegs. Your child needs to match the peg to the correct colour. Also great for strengthening little fingers.

Colour pom pom drop

Paint some toilet tubes and glue onto a piece of card. Allow your child to drop the right colour pom poms into the matching tube.
